Rome Coliseum - Rome, Lazio - How to Visit

The roman coliseum is located in the "Centro Historico" of Rome. You can have access to the site by bus, metro ("colosseo" subway station), car and of course by walking. It is about a 15 minutes walk from Rome's train station (" Stazione Termini"). See Rome's map.

How to buy tickets

You can purchase tickets to the coliseum directly at the entrance, online or as part of certain touring pass like the Roma Pass. The ticket usually also include an entrance to the Forum's Palatino which is in the Colosseum's area.
