Verona, located in the Veneto region of Italy, is a fascinating city for it's within streets archeological displays and also known as the city of Romeo and Juliet.

The city lies between the plains of Veneto, Dolomite Mountains and Lake Garda. Owing to its location, the city enjoys cold winters and hot and humid summers. Spring is a comparatively mild season characterized by downpours and cool breeze.

The city has rich historical reserves which makes it a hot destination for tourists. It is also acknowledged by the UNESCO’s world heritage site. Exemplifying Roman art, the city has the world’s third largest Roman amphitheater, The Arena, built around 30 AD. The amphitheater marked some of the eminent Roman shows like gladiator and Ludi. Roman Theater is yet another spot for lovers of Roman art. This theater built in 1st Century BC houses some of the best art work by Roman artists. Basilica of San Zeno Maggiore, acknowledged by many as the greatest achievement of Roman architecture was built to commemorate Verona’s saint, St. Zeno. This fascinating façade boasts a 72 meter tall tower with a bell which happens to be a main tourist attraction. Paleo Christian church, one of the most beautiful churches located on Romanesque Basilica of San Lorenzo, is built on the special technique of alternating bricks and white stones. Striped stones with fascinating arches make this church one of the finest churches in Verona.

Verona’s airport by the name, The Verona Airport, is located on the highly developed and strategically important northern Italy. The airport is connected with most of the cities in Italy and European countries. Apart from plane, the other modes of reaching Verona are shuttle busses, air taxis, rented cars and trains.
