Situated in the city of Buena Vista, California, Knott's Berry Farm is not just known for its jams and jellies. In fact, Knott's Berry Farm has been recognized as the first ever theme park ever established in the United States. From its humble beginnings during the Depression, Knott's Berry Farm spans a total land area of 160 acres and is divided into six different sections, each having its own theme and set of rides and attractions. A favorite amongst the kids visiting the park is the six-acre Camp Snoopy theme park. Recognized as the first theme park solely designed for kids, Camp Snoopy offers a variety of kid-friendly rides and attractions like Joe Cool's Gr8 Sk8 where children would enjoy a unique way of riding a skateboard, and the Camp Bus, which provides a great view of the entire Camp Snoopy area while spinning around with the rest of the Peanuts gang. Apart from the thrilling rides, great attractions and entertaining live shows, many come to visit the Knott's Berry Farm for its famous Chicken Dinner Restaurant. Established way back in 1934, the Chicken Dinner Restaurant is host to about 1.5 million diners each year. It is a large, full-service restaurant that seats 900 people located right across the amusement park in Knott's Marketplace, it is known for its signature fried chicken, homemade biscuits and heartwarming boysenberry pies. Inside the park, each of the theme sections has their own set of eateries that provide great food and a feast for the eyes.
