Perce, Quebec, Canada

7/10

Edit [ Edit ]

Introduction

The Pierced Rock (or Roché Percé) is an impressive rock wall that was left standing after thousands of years of costal erosion. It has an gateway hole near it's seaside extremity that can be visited a few hours a day by foot when the tides permit it.

It is located in Percé at the far east of the Gaspésie peninsula and a few stone throws away of the Bonaventure Island.
